LEWISTON — Finance Committee regular meeting, 5:15 p.m. in the mayor’s conference room on the bottom floor of Lewiston City Hall. Monday’s agenda includes reviews of bids for survey work, welding shop equipment and a sewer condition assessment.
AUBURN — City Council workshop and regular meeting in the City Council chambers on the second floor of Auburn Hall. The workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. and topics include an executive session, a development zone proposal, Newbury Street proposal, street acceptance and a recreation trails grant. The regular meeting follows at 7 p.m. and topics include a funding request from L/A Arts.

LEWISTON — Lewiston Jeopardy Night, hosted by the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council at 6 p.m. in the Callahan Hall upstairs in the Lewiston Public Library. Come show your knowledge about Lewiston today and back in the day in this contest. All ages are welcome and participants will be chosen at random from among the attendants.
AUBURN — Auburn School Committee, 7 p.m., Council Chambers of Auburn Hall, regular meeting.
LEWISTON — Special City Council meeting, 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the first floor of Lewiston City Hall, pending the result of Tuesday’s mayoral ballot. If there is no clear winner Tuesday and no single mayoral candidate is able to get a 50 percent majority, councilors will vote on scheduling a special run-off election on Dec. 8. If there is a clear winner, with a majority of 50 percent plus one vote, the meeting will not occur.

AUBURN — Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission meeting, 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of Auburn Hall.
FRIDAY, Nov. 6
LEWISTON — Benefit Concert for the Trinity Jubilee Center, featuring a performance by Greg Boardman at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity Church, 247 Bates St. Boardman will be performing Bach’s Partita Number Two for Solo Violin, which includes Bach’s Chaconne, widely considered the most sublime piece for solo violin ever composed.
