1915 – 2015
TURNER — Wilma Jordan, 100, of Turner, died at home with family at her side on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
She was born in Turner on June 17, 1915, the daughter of the late Wallace and Mildred (Hobbs) Reed. She graduated from Leavitt Institute and married LeRoy Jordan of Turner on March 2, 1935.
Wilma raised three children, worked at the Priscilla Turner Rug Shop, did hair for neighbors and friends and packed apples. She loved her flowers and was very proud of her gardens. She also loved bird watching, living next to the river, knitting, crocheting and loving her family. She was awarded the cane for the oldest citizen in Turner on June 16, 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Jenkins; grandchildren, Karen Adams, Linda Ames, Keith Millett, Lisha Tremblay, Kirt Millett, Alison Durgin, Rodney Powell and Ken Jordan; 18 great grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Sherman and Wallace Reed; husband, LeRoy Jordan; daughter, Janice Millett; son, Arlen Jordan; daughter-in-law, Diane Jordan; sons-in-law, John Jenkins and Gordon Millett.
