HERSEY — Iain Ashley, 60, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, in California. A celebration of Iain’s life and music will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Weston Farm, 1554 Route 2, Rumford Center. Musicians are requested to bring instruments. Donations in his memory may be made to your favorite animal rescue agency. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
JACKMAN — Dora E., 92, of Farmington died on Friday, Nov. 20. A public memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, at 1 p.m., at Fellows Cemetery, East Road, Fayette, ME 04349, with the Rev. Brian Rebert officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations may be made to Pinewood Terrace Activity Fund, 136 Rosewood Dr., Farmington, ME 04938, as she cherished the activities that Pinewood took the residents on.
