Coach: Ted Albasini

Conference: Mid-State Class: B

Last year’s results: Fifth at Class C states

Returning athletes: Juniors — Kurtis Bolton, Nick Lerette; Sophomore — Brad Harriman.

Key losses: J.D. Martin, Colin Higgins, Josh Collier.

Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Xavier Adams, Lucas Francis.

Outlook: The Greyhounds are young but accomplished at the top. Bolton is a two-time state runnerup at 132 pounds. Harriman was fourth at 160 as a freshman. Martin and Higgins were past state champions and will be missed. The Greyhounds have only one senior, and that wrestler did not compete last year. Lisbon will face tougher competition as a result of the Maine Principals’ Association eliminating Class B. In addition to old nemesis Dirigo, the Greyhound also must contend with the likes of Mountain Valley, Ellsworth, Foxcroft and Belfast.
