Promising newcomers: Many young players look promising, but none stand out yet.

Season outlook: The Black Bears face an uphill battle by being both young and low in numbers. Yet after last year’s 1-17 finish, they only have up to look. The team has a few different goalies, all of whom can keep the Black Bears in games. This year could be a building block for a brighter future for a young core.
