RUMFORD — Funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” R. Kerr, of Rumford and formerly of Mexico for many years, were conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, with the Rev. Izzie Radford-Nash officiating. Interment in the spring with military honors will be conducted at the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico.
Delegations in attendance were from the Mexico Fire Department, the American Legion and the Knights of Pythias. The Fireman’s Prayer was recited by Chief Gary Wentzell of the Mexico Fire Department. Words of remembrance were given by son, Jack Kerr; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Kerr; and son, Allen Kerr. Music included “Amazing Grace.” A reception followed at the Mexico Congregational Church in Mexico.
