NAPLES — Junior center Skye Conley drained 19 points to go along with her eight rebounds as Gray-New Gloucester sailed past Lake Region 45-42 in girls’ basketball action Tuesday evening.
Conley scored 12 of her 19 points in the second half as the Patriots (9-2) pulled away in the second half. Junior guard Grace Kariotis contributed 12 points on four field goals from beyond the arc.
Junior guard Kristen Huntress recorded a game-high 20 points for the Lakers (8-2). Lauren Jakobs provided 10 points on two field goals and six from the free throw line for Lake Region in the losing effort.

Lake Region 68, Gray-New Gloucester 35
GRAY — Jack Lesure poured in a game-high 13 points in a balanced attack as Lake Region sped off with a 68-35 triumph over Gray-New Gloucester in boys’ basketball action Tuesday evening.
The Lakers took a 33-20 lead at the half. Brandon Palmer contributed 11 points, while Nate Smith added 10 points for Lake Region.
The Patriots were paced by John Martin with 11 points, and Zack Haskell with 10 points in the losing effort.
Mt. Ararat 51, Lewiston 49
TOPSHAM — Shyheim Ulrickson led the way for Mt. Ararat with 19 points as the Eagles overcame a fourth-quarter deficit to edge Lewiston 51-49 in KVAC boys’ basketball action Tuesday.
Alex LaFountain added 13 for Mt. Ararat (7-3), which trailed by seven at the half.
Mohamedsediq Hussein led the visiting Blue Devils (2-9) with 18 points, including four from beyond the arc, while Abdinasir Issack added 10 in the loss.
