Teens, adults invited to color
LEWISTON — Color the Night Away! from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the Lewiston Public Library Jeanne Couture room on the first floor.
There will be a variety of coloring pages as well as colored pencils, markers and crayons and soothing music and refreshments.
The event is free and open to teens and adults. Supplies will be provided but those attending are welcome to bring their own.

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior will play bingo at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Lewiston Armory. Seniors members are invited to bring a friend who may or may not be a member of the group.

Earn three-part work certification
TURNER — SAD 52 Adult Education announces an opportunity to earn three combined career work certifications. Get to work quickly by becoming credentialed as a personal support specialist, certified residential medical aide and earn the state work ready certification.
The three-part certification project is recognized by area healthcare employers and, if eligible, at no cost to the student.
SAD 52 Adult Education has partnered with the local CareerCenter and local healthcare employers to offer training and classroom work directly at the healthcare locations. At the end of the course the participant will be guaranteed an interview with the partnering businesses.

Motorcycle Swapmeet coming to town
LEWISTON — The 40th annual Great Northern Motorcycle Swapmeet will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Androscoggin Bank Colisee, 190 Birch St.
Vendors with vintage and new motorcycle parts, jewelry, leather, T-shirts, boots and patches will be on site.
The event is hosted by the Saracens Motorcycle Club.

Society to consider reorganizing
MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Mechanic Falls Public Library, third floor of the municipal building.
The main agenda item will be reorganizing the society. The society is hoping to attract more people to join and contribute to the efforts to archive and record the holdings the society possesses.
Further fundraising plans will also be discussed. Refreshments will be served.
Church to conduct annual meeting
PHILLIPS — The Phillips Community Church will hold its annual meeting at noon Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Community House on Main Street.
There will be a potluck lunch followed by the meeting.
