DIXFIELD  — Riley Robinson scored 37 points, including seven 3-pointers, and had his No. 20 jersey retired as Dirigo beat Oak Hill in Mountain Valley Conference boys’ basketball on Monday.

Clay Swett added 16 points for Dirigo (14-1). Gavin Hebert added 12. Oak Hill was led by Jonah Martin with 18 and Dalton Therrien with 12.

Dirigo opened a 12-7 lead in the first quarter and built a 36-21 lead at halftime. The Cougars then blew the lead wide open in the fourth, outscoring the Raiders 24-9.

Lisbon 56, Carrabec 47

LISBON — Tyrese Joseph scored 22 points to lead Lisbon to a 56-47 win over Carrabec in Mountain Valley Conference boys’ basketball action Monday.

Josh Huston added 12 points for the Greyhounds (7-8) while Noah Carter added 11. Carrabec (5-10) got 22 from Dustin Crawford and 10 from Evan Holzworth.

Lisbon built an 18-17 lead in the first quarter but was down 33-32 at the half. The Greyhounds doubled up the Cobras 12-6 in the third and outscored them 12-8 in the fourth for the win.

Mtn. Valley 66, Telstar 57

BETHEL — Curtis Steele scored 11 of his 17 points in the second quarter on Monday night, staking Mountain Valley to a lead that held up in a 66-57 MVC boys’ basketball victory over Telstar.

Ryley Flynn added 15 points and Keegan Davis and Cam Godbois chalked up 10 apiece for Mountain Valley (3-11). The Falcons used a 21-9 run in the second quarter to transform an 18-15 deficit into a 36-27 advantage.

Mountain Valley iced the win with 17-for-21 efficiency from the free-throw line.

Tanner Wheeler topped Telstar (4-11) with 17 points. Jarrett Bean added 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Blake Rothwell registered 12 points for the Rebels.

Girls’ basketball

Buckfield 47, Seacoast Christian 29

SOUTH BERWICK — Kali Litchfield was clutch from beyond the arc, draining three 3-pointers and leading all players with 13 points as Buckfield cruised to a 47-29 win over Seacoast Christian on Monday.

Litchfield was a big piece of the Bucks’ run in the second quarter that saw the visitors stretch a three-point lead after one frame into a 14-point edge at the half.

Ashley Campbell added nine and Emily Swartz contributed eight for Buckfield (6-10) in the win. Courtney Williams led the way for Seacoast (0-15) with nine points. Abigail Wirling chipped in with eight.

Oxford Hills 32, Fryeburg 25

FRYEBURG — Oxford Hills got 10 points each from Peter Mahoney, Zachary Gray and Brandon Robare as the Vikings beat Fryeburg 32-25 in unified basketball action Monday.

Aaron Hennessey led Fryeburg with eight points. Matt McLaughlin and Arron Limmer each scored six while Chris Hennessey added five.

Girls’ hockey

Scarborough 5, Lewiston 4

SACO — Sami Shoebottom scored four goals to lead Scarborough to a 5-4 win over Lewiston in girls’ hockey Monday.

Shoebottom scored 30 seconds into the game and added a pair of goals in a 3-0 second period for the Red Storm (15-0-1). She added a goal just 1:28 into the third. Katie Loisel had a goal and an assist for Scarborough.

Lewiston (10-5-1) got two goals from Bree Bergeron while Corinne Laberge and Jordan Mynahan each had a goal and an assist.

Bergeron and Mynahan gave Lewiston a 2-1 lead after one period, but Scarborough got three goals in the second. Shoebottom had two and Loisel had one. Shoebottom made it 5-2 with her goal in the third. Lewiston closed the gap in the third on tallies by Leberge and Bergeron.

Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland 6, Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland 1

AUBURN —  Saige Arseneault scored a pair of first-period goals from Angel Drouin and Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland never looked back, beating Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland 6-1 in a girls’ hockey game at Norway Savings Banks Arena on Monday.

The Red Hornets (8-6-3) went up 4-0 in the second period on goals by Grace McBride and Abby Roy, before the Capers (5-11) scored late in the period. Hannah Bosworth had the lone Capers tally, with an assist from Kate Ginder.

Roy scored again in the third, as did Haley Frohlich, to put the game away for the Red Hornets on their senior night.

BRIDGTON — Tyler Johnson and Keegan Pock each scored goals to lift the boys’ hockey team from Windham/Westbrook to a 2-0 win over Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills.
 
Logan Heckman and Gage Chenard had assists for Windham/Westbrook.
 
Johnson scored 50 seconds into the game in the first period. Pock made it 2-0 just 2:03 into the second.  Alex LaBlanc stopped 31 shots in the shutout. Trent Spaulding made 29 saves for Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills.
