AUGUSTA (AP) — An Augusta couple is due in court for the first time after being charged with murder.

Twenty-seven-year old Zina Fritz and her boyfriend, 45-year-old Michael Sean McQuade, were indicted last week and were scheduled to appear in court in Augusta on Tuesday. Detectives previously charged another man, 25-year-old Damik Davis of Queens, New York.

All three are charged in the death of 31-year-old Joseph Marceau of Augusta, whose body was found by police while responding to a report of a disturbance in apartment building on Nov. 23.

Police are calling the death “a drug related homicide.” Fritz and McCade were already in custody on unrelated charges. It was unknown if they had an attorney.
