I found it very discouraging to read the Associated Press article “No nominee for Obama” (Sun Journal, Feb. 14).

Why should politicians feel that a Supreme Court justice has to be conservative or liberal?

A justice should not put the almighty dollar ahead of the future of “we the people.”
