AUBURN — The Auburn City Democrats will caucus Sunday, March 6, at Auburn Middle School. Doors open at noon for caucus registration.

All registered Democrats from the city of Auburn, including 17-year-olds who will be 18 years old by Election Day, Nov. 8, are eligible to participate.

Unregistered eligible voters and those registered as unenrolled, “independent,” voters can register as Democrats before the caucus, or at the caucus from noon to 1 p.m. The caucus convenes no earlier than 2 p.m., to elect a Democratic candidate for president and delegates to the Maine State Democratic Convention in Portland on May 6-7.

Regardless of political affiliation, special seating is provided for the media and any persons interested in attending. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

Attendees are requested to bring at least one item of nonperishable food to be donated to the Trinity Jubilee Center food bank.
