Since its inception, the Lahey Foundation has awarded $200,000.00 in scholarships to graduates of Lewiston and Edward Little high schools and St. Dom’s.

17th Annual Mountain Valley Rec Invitational Basketball Tournament
The 17th Annual Annual Mountain Valley Recreational Basketball Tournament will be held on April 1, 2 and 3, a week later than usual due to an early Easter.
This competitive tournament will feature some of the best players in the state in our A division, along with other more seasoned veterans in the B and Senior Division.
We will also try and host a women’s division this year. Games will be played at Mountain Valley High School and Mountain Valley Middle School, with Dirigo High School and middle school as needed.
Last year, A and B divisions hosted 10 teams each. We would like to add six or more senior and women’s teams. All teams will play three round-robin format preliminary games on Friday Night and Saturday, followed by a single elimination playoff round on Sunday.
There will be the usual shooting contests throughout the weekend and evening activities at Hotel Rumford. Entry fees will remain the same at $350 before March 1, $375 before March 15 and $400 thereafter. Please contact commissioner Eddie Paterson, epaterson2@roadrunner.com, 207-364-9352 and/or visit our web site at www.mvrbl.webs.com.
