I have to agree with William VanTassel (letter, Sun Journal, Feb. 20). He is right on that the nation is in a sad moral and intellectual state. I have been thinking about that for months now.

I know it is too late and impractical to think anyone in government would consider giving voters a third option on the November ballot: None of the above.

If the choices for president come down to Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, I would check that box. Otherwise, I may stay home for the first time in 50-plus years.
