RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:
* Feb. 20, 5:10 a.m.: Chad Warner 27, of Rumford was arrested by Officer Matthew Desroches on a charge of operating under the influence after a crash on Route 232. Warner was released on $800 unsecured bail from the Rumford Police Department. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford Court on April 11.
* Feb. 22, 9:24 a.m.: Lawrence Wilder, 26, of Rumford was arrested on Erchles Street by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on two warrants for failure to appear. Wilder was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.
* Feb. 22, 12:24 p.m.: Marie Weston, 24, of Rumford was arrested on Cumberland Street by Patrolman Briggs on a warrant. Weston was transported to Oxford County Jail.
* Feb. 22, 1:07 p.m.: David Paquette, 38, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation of the Sex Offender Registry. He was unable to make bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 11.
* Feb. 22, 6:06 p.m.: Michael Nickerson, 58, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Briggs on a warrant from Rockland. Nickerson was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
* Feb. 23, 6:21 a.m.: Nathan Bailey, 41, of Bethel was arrested on Route 2 in Rumford Center by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a warrant for criminal mischief and violation conditions of release. Bailey was not eligible for bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
* Feb. 24, 4:15 a.m.: A Washington Street resident reported his roommate admitted stealing his Xanax then assaulted him after police were called. Sgt. Maifeld responded. The case is under investigation.
