Greene resident to star in Dean College production
FRANKLIN, Mass. — Brandi Lavigne of Greene performed in the Dean College production of “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” March 2 to 6.
“Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” is the inventive tale of Shakespeare’s play, “Hamlet,” as told from the bewildered view of two minor characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.

Local student tours with Hamilton College choir
CLINTON, N.Y. — Adelaide J. Fuller, daughter of Donald and Kimberly Fuller of Peru, will participate in the annual Hamilton College Choir Spring Break Tour, led by Professor G. Roberts Kolb. The 51-member choir and College Hill singers will perform at churches and cathedrals in cities that include Rochester, N.Y., Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Detroit. The tour runs from March 12 to March 18.
The choir will perform a diverse repertoire. The concert will include Eric Whitacre’s “Alleluia,” selections from Johann Nepomuk David’s Deutsche Messe, a spiritual medley and a double choir piece.
Fuller, a junior majoring in music, is a graduate of Dirigo High School.
