ORONO — Authorities are searching for a missing 21-year-old Maine Maritime Academy student who was last seen in Orono near the Penobscot River on Friday night.

Local police and the Maine Warden Service are collaborating to try to find David Breunig, of Westbrook. A spokeswoman for the Orono Police Department says authorities will provide an update on the search on Monday afternoon.

Breunig was last seen in Orono after a late night gathering with friends. Game wardens say they have searched the Penobscot River via air, water and land to try to find Breunig.
