LEWISTON — Richard A. Chamness, 47, of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, March 8, after a battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by friends and family.
Born Aug. 15, 1968, Rick was predeceased by his father, Robert Chamness, in 2004 and his mother, Brenda Chamness, in 2014. He was also predeceased by his brother, Raymond Chamness, in 2003.
Survivors include his three children, Mindy Thomas of Massachusetts, Richard Chamness Jr. of Lewiston, and Kayla Gondek of Auburn. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherry May of Lewiston, Susan Chamness of Auburn, Brenda Baylis of Massachusetts, Loretta Intonti of Massachusetts, and Marsha Vouture of Massachusetts; and his brother, Robert Chamness of Massachusetts. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Christine Hartford of Lewiston; and four grandchildren, Tycen, Abby, Bentley and Sadie.
