AUBURN — Harriman and The Cecil Group, a newly merged architecture, engineering urban design, planning, and landscape architecture firm, announces that two staff members have recently earned professional certification and accreditation.
Jeffrey LaPierre, P.E., LEED AP, HFDP, CEM, has received the Certified Energy Manager credential from the Association of Energy Engineers and Kathryn Wise, AIA, E.I., LEED Green Associate has passed the Architecture Registration Examination and is a licensed architect.
LaPierre has 22 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and has designed heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for institutions, including colleges and universities, K-12 schools and laboratory facilities. He received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maine. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers and is a past president and current treasurer of the Maine chapter.
Wise is an active member in the American Institute of Architects, serving on the Maine state board of directors and regional and national committees. She earned a bachelor of science degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Maine and a master of architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
