THE FORKS — Maine State Police are investigating the death of 33-year-old Kimberly Hill of Wiscasset.

She was found along Route 201 in The Forks early Sunday morning.

They are looking into whether she may have jumped from a moving pickup truck driven by her boyfriend, 29-year-old Tyler Poland of Greene.

Poland called 911 just after 2 a.m. and said he had put her into the cab of his pickup as he drove south.

Hill was dead when first responders met up with the truck.

A section of the road was closed for a time as investigators gathered evidence.

An autopsy was done on Hill’s body at the Medical Examiners Office in Augusta. The truck and evidence gathered will be examined at the State Police Crime Lab.
