PARIS — Producers of “The Wizard of Oz” announced Monday that due to the overwhelming response in ticket sales, they will add a fourth show.

Oxford Hills School Community Broadway Show producer Kyle Jordan said the April 1-3 shows sold out in five days. It is being staged at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in Paris.

“The response was incredible,” Jordan said in a written statement. “Simply, all of the 1,500 tickets are sold. So we made a  decision to add a Saturday matinee.”

It will be at 1:30 p.m. April 2. General admission seats will be $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 62 or older and children 12 and under. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will go on sale at 11 a.m. on the day of the performance at the high school.

The door for the performance will open at 12:30 p.m.
