FARMINGTON — Regional School Unit 9 directors will hold an expulsion hearing Tuesday, April 12, for a high school student accused of distributing marijuana brownies to another student on school property, Superintendent Tom Ward said.
The hearing will top the board’s agenda at 6 p.m. in The Forum at Mt. Blue High School. After the hearing, the board will take up regular business.
It is the second time this school year that a high school student has been accused of distributing pot brownies at Mt. Blue Campus. In January, school directors voted to expel indefinitely another high school student. Administrators were to develop a re-entry plan, and when the student completed it, Ward would consider whether to recommend to directors that the student be allowed to come back to school.
