WISCASSET — Maine officials say a Bristol woman died in a two-car crash Friday afternoon on Route 1 in Wiscasset.
Authorities identified the woman as Alice Barstow, a passenger in the Lincoln Town Car driven by Henry Barstow of Bristol.
Alice Barstow was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Portland Press Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1TaQGaP ) that authorities did not name the driver of the other car, who they say crossed the center line and struck the car driven by Barstow. Both he and Henry Barstow were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Officials with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department say a crash reconstruction team is involved in the investigation, which is ongoing.
