1944 – 2016

LEWISTON — Laurent “Larry” Utah Cobb Sr., 71, of Lewiston died Monday, May 16, at Central Maine Medical Center.
 
Larry was born on Nov. 5, 1944, in Washington, DC, the son of Theodore A. Cobb and Jeannette A. (Farnum) Levesque.
 
He graduated from Norway High School and then went on to serve his country proudly in the U.S. Marines and served in Vietnam. He then went on to Hesser College in New Hampshire for two years.
 
Larry married Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Marquis on Aug. 13, 1988. They are longtime residents of Lewiston. He was a lifetime truck driver for Sysco Foods Services.
 
Larry loved being on the computer, Miller Lite, his cat Cheez-It and late night talks with his son, Larry Jr.
 
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his son, Larry Jr. of Weare, N.H.; sisters, Roseanna (Jim) Ring of West Paris, Maryann Lewis of South Paris, Bettyanne (Armand) Jordan of South Paris, and Sandra Hamilton of Norway.
 
He was predeceased by his  parents; stepfather, Albert Levesque; infant daughter; brother, Theodore; and sister, Joanne Prue.
