WEST PERU — Graveside services for Joan A. “Honey” DesRoches, of Peru, were conducted Saturday, June 4, at 10 a.m., at the Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru, with David Blouin officiating.

Special music “Sweet Perfume” was sung by guitarist Doug Nile. The Eulogy was presented by her granddaughter, Arianne Brown. Words of Remembrance were given by her friend, Gene Towle. The releasing of butterflies was done by the family to the music of Faith Hill, “There You’ll Be.” A reception followed at the home of her granddaughter, Arianne Brown and her husband, Bill, in Mexico.

Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
