AUGUSTA — Troy Johnson threw a complete game and struck out seven as Bessey Motors defeated Augusta 6-3 in American Legion baseball action Tuesday.

At the plate, Bailey West had three hits and two RBIs to lead Bessey.

Hunter LaBossiere and Connor Truman each had a pair of hits in the victory. LaBossiere had an RBI while Truman scored twice.

Emery Chickering had a double in the top of the first to drive in West.

Kolbe Merfeld and Cam Brochu each had a pair of hits and a run scored for Augusta.
