AUBURN — Jarod Norcross-Plourde had a big day at the plate, knocking in seven runs as Rogers Post defeated Gardiner 15-2 in five innings in American Legion baseball action.
Norcross-Plourde had two three-run doubles — one in the second and one in the third, when Rogers (10-1) runners crossed the plate 10 times. Brandon Varney also had a pair of doubles, and Gavin Bates added a double. Austin Cox scored three times.
Norcross-Plourde also pitched all five innings, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks.
Dalton Therrien and Eli Fish had doubles for Gardiner (7-4).
Pastime 15, Locke Mills 6
BETHEL — Hunter Landry and Mitchell Davis each had a pair of two-run home runs as Pastime defeated Locke Mills, 15-6.
Davis also had a triple in the game. Austin Wing and Lucas Francis had a double in the victory. Gage Cote had a pair of hits for Pastime.
Francis started the contest for Pastime (12-0) before being relieved by Davis in the fifth inning.
Tanner Wheeler had two hits, including a triple, for Locke Mills (4-5). Chase Harkins, Jake Kraske and Mason Henley each had a pair of hits in the losing effort.
