Visitation will be held at Fortin/Auburn on Friday, Aug. 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Liturgy of the Word service at 11 a.m. Committal prayers will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please plant something in your garden or that of a loved one, hug your children when they are struggling, happy, or sad, and tell them “Grandma Jeanie” loved them (even if she never met them). Ask someone how they are doing, listen to their challenges, give them a hug, and check in with them at a later time. See them through a difficult time with humor and a hug. Sew, cook, or make something for someone who is important to you, or for someone in need. Share your heart and talent with those around you. HOWE — Paul W., 92, of Norway died Saturday, Aug. 6. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Bill’s home at 67 Bill Howe Road, Norway. Following the service, Bill’s family will be hosting a catered reception that all in attendance are welcome to stay for. Private family interment will be at the Elm Vale Cemetery in South Waterford. KEENE — Ernest R., 78, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3.
