RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:

* Aug. 5, 6:09 p.m.: Timothy Castle, 35, of Rumford arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault on Hartford Street. He was transported to Oxford County Jail. A Sept. 12 court date was given.

* Aug. 5, 3:50 p.m.: Amanda Spitzer, 35, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault on Waldo Street and was transported to Oxford County Jail. Spitzer is ineligible for bail and was given a Rumford District Court date of 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12.

* Aug. 4, 11:48 a.m.: Monique Hill, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Congress Street on charges of violation conditions of release. She was placed on probation hold and transported to the Oxford County Jail. She was given a court date of Sept. 12.

* Aug. 3, 9:01 a.m.: Frank B. Knapp, 34, of Rumford was arrested on two warrants for unpaid fines by police officer James McLamb. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* Aug. 3, 4:21 a.m.: Anthony McCandless, 24, of Rumford was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear and transported to Oxford County Jail.

* Aug. 3, 2:17 a.m.: Dylan Westliegh, 19, of Rumford was arrested on charges of violation conditions of release and charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor (consumption). Westliegh was transported to Oxford County Jail and given a Rumford Court date of Sept. 12.

* July 31, 2:12 p.m.: Rhonda S. Welch, 33, of Rumford was arrested by McLamb for violation conditions of release. Welch was given a Rumford District Court date of 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12. She was transported to Oxford County Jail.
