Season outlook: Buckfield should should compete well again this year in the EWC, with Richmond again providing the biggest competition. The Bucks lost a lot of scoring punch in Randolph and Sidney Jackson, but bring back an entire starting defense and goalkeeper from a state runner-up team. Ethan Jackson and Beaucage will look to lead the way offensively. Buckfield boosted its schedule a bit with games against Class C schools St. Dom’s and Traip. Defense will be the name of the game for the Bucks, who eye a return trip to the state final.
