This is in response to a Sun Journal story (Aug. 24). I can’t believe the Lewiston School Committee decided to add teaching Chinese and Arabic in the Lewiston school system.

What the heck is wrong with Lewiston’s school system? Has the School Committee lost the last bit of sense they ever had?

Lewiston is historically English and French, even though there are other cultures here.

What next? Get rid of English?

How many people speak Chinese or Arabic here?
