Season outlook: The Ramblers had a tougher-than-usual time winning tight games last season, but that has made them even stronger. A lot of work went into the offseason this year, and Winthrop expects to be a tough team to beat in its conference. There is a lot of talent and experience on this senior-heavy roster, and these girls have been playing together a long time. Because the Ramblers cross over to C North for the playoffs, they will keep an eye on that tough conference, but Winthrop should have what it takes to earn at least one home game in the postseason.
