I had the pleasure of being on the Lewiston School Committee for three years. I worked with Jim Handy on several issues. I must say, he is not the person I would want as a state representative.

I don’t think he always listened to the facts and I found him to be very argumentative. I have the idea that is why he lost out on being re-elected to the School Committee in the last election.

I don’t want to be negative, but he didn’t gain my respect while I was on the committee.
