RUMFORD — A 31-year-old Litchfield resident has been arrested on sex charges following a lengthy investigation by Rumford police, according to Chief Stacy Carter.
In a news release, Carter said Wayne Hull was charged with unlawful sexual touching of a child under 12 years old, dissemination of sexually explicit material and possession of sexually explicit material of a child under 12 years old.
Carter said his department obtained search warrants for Hull’s home on Ferrin Road and arrest warrants for him. He was not home when Maine State Police and the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist in the search, Carter said.
Lewiston police detectives located Hull at his work place in Lewiston and arrested him on the three Rumford warrants, Carter said.
