I’m voting for Lisa Keim for Maine Senate District 18 on Nov. 8. She will be a dedicated servant to her constituents.

Sen. John Patrick supported the building of a casino in southern Maine, which studies have shown could cost the Oxford Casino up to 30 percent of its revenue. That would have a detrimental effect on the much needed jobs in Oxford County and revenues, not only for the town of Oxford, but for every property taxpayer in Oxford County because both receive funds from the Casino’s income for tax relief and public safety.

Responsible leadership and commitment to the citizens of District 18 is what is needed in Augusta.
