AUGUSTA — The Maine Robotics EXPO will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Augusta Civic Center.
Organizers are seeking professional engineers, programmers, college professors and STEM entrepreneurs to set up a display and talk with youths, parents and teachers about their occupations.
Displays will include:
• The Maine FIRST LEGO League State Championship, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
• The STEM/STEAM Career Showcase, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
• The Maine Digital Festival, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
• The FIRST robotics and VEX robotics Demo area, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and
• The Great Ball Contraption, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Registration is required, but it’s free to set up for the day. Each exhibitor will have a 7-foot table and two chairs.
Once participation is confirmed, a packet containing further information about the event will be mailed.
