AUBURN — Caleb Labrie completed his hat trick with three seconds to play in the second period and Matt Poulin added a goal and two assists to help lead Central Maine Community College to a 6-3 win over Bates College on Wednesday night.

Mark Upton, Nick Barker and Morgan Dewdney scored for the Bobcats, who kept it close throughout the game.

Evan Sullivan and Jordy Knoren netted a goal each for the Mustangs (7-3-0), while Tyler Friel made 24 saves on 27 shots to earn the win.

New Hampton 4, Hebron Academy 1

HEBRON — New Hampton scored three goals in a 53-second span in the second period to skate past Hebron Academy for a 4-1 victory in girls’ prep school hockey.

Eliza Beaudin scored the goal for Hebron (1-2) at 11:24 of the first period, assisted by Lauren Russeasu. New Hampton equaled the score three minutes later for a 1-1 score after one period.

New Hampton (4-0) opened the second period with three unanswered goals to seal the victory. Sierra Sunroman had five saves in net for the victory. Hebron’s Emily Town stopped 58 shots in net in the loss.

Vermont Academy 2, Hebron Academy 1

PLYMOUTH — Brendon McDonald stopped 14 of his game-high 36 saves in the third period as Vermont Academy stopped Hebron Academy 2-1 in boys’ hockey action.

Robbie Ferreira got Vermont (2-1) on the board first with an unassisted goal in the first period. Hebron answered with a second period goal from Sean Kimura, assisted by Luke Grainger and Matt Meikle.

Calvin Muise scored what proved to be the game-winner at the 14:24 mark in the second period, beating goalie Filip Johansson (24 saves).
