PARSONSFIELD — The York County Sheriff’s Office says a dispute over rent led to a Parsonsfield man damaging his son’s mobile home with a front-end loader.

Police say they responded to the home on Pendexter Road, where 50-year-old John Bubar was involved in a dispute with his 27-year-old son, Michael.

The mobile home where Michael lives is on John’s property.

Police say John Bubar used the front-end loader to pick up and drop the mobile home three times. He continued to damage the home until he learned that his 7-year-old grandson was inside.

The child was not hurt in the incident.

John Bubar was charged with Domestic Violence Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon. His bail is set at $5,000.
