Season Outlook: The boys’ team returns a number of experienced skiers as well as others who look to take a big step forward this season. Maranacook/Winthrop also has promising younger skiers, so the squad should be competitive again this year. The girls’ team has a strong top four, so its success this year will depend on them coming through and some of the younger skiers improving to the point where they can push those top four along. Coach Steve DeAngelis expects a successful season, considering the talent and attitude of the girls’ team.
