TURNER — John L. Jordan, 69, of Turner died Saturday, Dec. 17.
He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 20, 1947. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene Franklin Jordan Sr. and Rita (Estes) Jordan, Rose. First marriage was to Nancy (Richard) Saucier and second marriage, Gail M. Jordan. His wife predeceased him on Feb. 8, 2016.
His pets, Timber and Snow, died by his side. He was educated at Leavitt Institute and was employed at BIW as a welder, Country Kitchen as a truck driver, and was a wood craftsmen, heavy equipment operator, jack-of-all-trades and master of most.
He served in the Army National Guard for 16 years and was a member of American Legion, sergeant-at-arms. His hobbies were master of woodworking, professional and creative welding, building a trike motorcycle with his grandson, Chase, and antique mechanical projects. He owned horses and boarded them. He also had a love of muscle cars.
He is survived by daughters, Julie-Ann Jordan, Wendy Sue Jordan and Jonnie Lee Jordan; stepchildren, Eddie Miville and Michelle Miville; grandchildren, Erik Jordan, Edward Miville, Taylor Crowell, Chase Crowell, Isis Jordan, Victoria Ranger; brothers, Kenneth Jordan and wife, Marie Jordan, Eugene Jordan Jr.; sister, Beverly Jordan; and was loved by many nieces and nephews; dearest friends: Kay Richardson, Choo-Choo Bill Larabee, Rick Baril, Don Wilson, Judy. He was predeceased by Butch Clark.
