Dry air pushing in from the west is inhibiting the snowfall inland. Looking like low end of the snowfall totals forecast. pic.twitter.com/j2vuz3Cv3i

Any early morning sun will fade early today. Clouds will thicken during the course of the morning in advance of an approaching storm.
It still appears we’ll be on the extreme northwestern edge of an ocean storm.
Parts of southern New England will pick up around a foot of snow.
Here in northern New England, it’s looking more like a a few to several inches.
Snow gets going during the afternoon and should be moving out around midnight.
The second half of the weekend is looking mostly cloudy with only the chance for a snow shower.
Monday still looks to be the coldest day of the stretch.
Early morning lows will dip sub zero and highs will return into the teens.
In spite of all this cold air, it’s looking like a mid-week storm will be more wet than white.
