LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice announces that three employees have been promoted to management positions.
Angela Richards, RN, has been promoted to director of transitional care and is a member of the senior management team. Richards has been with AHCH for 25 years, most recently in the role of project manager. She has developed significant relationships with regional health care providers and the state as AHCH launched its community care teams, developed its hospital to home initiatives and began its work with accountable care organizations. She was also instrumental in the integration and implementation of the agency’s electronic medical record system.
In her new role, Richards will oversee the development and expansion of programs that foster effective transitions among primary care, acute care and post-acute care.
Steve Doyon has been promoted to director of administrative services and is a member of the senior management team. Doyon has been working at AHCH since age 16. He will continue to oversee facilities services and maintenance, telecommunications (land and mobile), administrative services and materials services.
Ann Perkins has been promoted to manager of compliance and risk and joins the management team. Perkins is a 20-year veteran of AHCH, most recently serving as the performance improvement coordinator. She has moved through several jobs while assuming additional leadership responsibilities. She previously served as the materials management coordinator and interim supervisor of team assistants.
She is pursuing certification in health care compliance. She oversees the customer service management, medical records, physician database management and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations. She will also play a key role in implementing risk management and compliance strategies.
