LISBON — Police are looking for a car that hit a truck Monday evening on Route 196.
Lisbon police say they responded about 9:30 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle crash near Haggerty Realty.
Witnesses told police that an easbound, possibly silver Toyota crossed the center line on Route 196 before hitting a snowbank, fire hydrant and truck pulling out of Springworks Farm.
Witness said the the Toyota was travelling very fast and was “all over the road,” according to police. They reported seeing a male driver with blood on his face and a female passenger. Witnesses also said she called the driver “Justin.”
The Toyota was last seen driving east on Route 196 before police officers arrived.
There were no injuries reported by people at the scene of the accident.
Based on debris left on the road, police say the car is a Toyota Corrolla or Camry with extensive damage to the front and rear right side of the vehicle.
