Updated 11:30 a.m.: Central Maine Power reports it is restoring power to homes in Franklin County on Wednesday morning after a night of heavy winds.

According to CMP, 1,190 customers reported power outages as of 10:40 a.m. The number was zero about half an hour later.

The outages were reported in the towns of Alder Stream, Chain of Ponds, Coplin Plantation, Eustis, Freeman, Jim Pond, Kingfield, New Sharon and Salem.
