MADISON — The Madsion Bulldogs held on to post a 39-35 victory over St. Dominic Academy in a Class C South preliminary round basketball game on Tuesday.
Madeline Wood led all scorers with 13 points to lead the No. 5 Bulldogs (14-5). She had a key layup with about 1:30 to go to seal the victory. Lauren Hay had a double-double as she had ten points and 12 rebounds.
Sydney LeBlanc also had 12 rebounds in the victory to go with her seven points.
Caroline Gastonguay paced the No. 12 Saints (6-13) with 12 points while Chloe Dwinell had 11.

Poland 40, Edward Little 37
POLAND — David Ellington paced the Knights with 13 points as Poland (2-1) squeaked out a 40-37 victory over Edward Little in Unified action Tuesday.
Ben Dumont had 12 points to lead the Red Eddies (1-2).
