DENMARK — The Denmark Arts Center presents the first event in its new “Doubleheader” series on Friday, Feb. 17.
First up, enjoy the athletic and vibrant movement vocabulary of Colleen Fitzgerald, a choreographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She presents the solo performance “Me libero, me recuerdo, todo mientras tú lo observes” (I liberate myself, I remember, all while you observe.)
In this dance, she takes inspiration from strong, black and female role models in her life.
The second performance is a local collaboration between DAC co-director Delaney
McDonough, Portland musician Caitlin Scholl and Vermont dancer Hanna Satterlee. “Voice and Vessel” explores connections between the voice and the body.
Doors open at 7 p.m.; performance begins at 7:30. Tickets are a suggested donation of $10. Kids are free.

To reserve a seat, email info@denmarkarts.org or call 452-2412.
