AUBURN — Marie C. Blouin, 83, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 17, with family by her side after a three year battle with ovarian cancer.
Marie was born Sept. 9, 1933, to George and Vilda Cothran. She had five sisters and two brothers and attended schools in Auburn.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all of her family. Her thoughtfulness, kindness and humor will not be forgotten. Marie was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and was so happy to see them win the World Series in her lifetime.
Marie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Romeo H. Blouin; five children, Roland, Romeo, Pauline, Roger and Anne; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
