NORWAY — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and the Norway Grange will serve weekly community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the American Legion Hall, 212 Main St.

This is a location change from the Norway Grange, and will be in effect through the winter months. 

All are welcome to a hot breakfast and fellowship.

NORWAY — The First Universalist church of Norway will host a ham and bean supper at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the church, 479 Main St.

AUBURN —  The Church Family Groups of St. Philips Church will host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at the church on Route 4 across from Lake Auburn. 

Cost: $6 for adults; $3 for children ages 6 to 12; free for children 5 and younger.

PERU — The Rumford Seniors will host a spaghetti and meatball luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27.

POLAND — Life Springs serves luncheons to seniors at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays at the Poland Community Church, 1212 Maine St.

FARMINGTON — Loaves and Fishes will serve a weekly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 29, at Trinity United Methodist Church.

LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus raised $1,000 for the Haiti orphanage, Free the Kids, during their last Take Out Beans.

The next takeout supper will be served from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at the Holy Cross church hall at 1080 Lisbon St.

Orders may be phoned in the day of the takeout. 

Cost: Prices range from $3 for a pint of beans to $10 for “The Works” with a quart of beans.

MINOT — West Minot Grange will host an Everything Maple Supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 4.

Some of the proceeds will benefit the West Minot Grange scholarship program.

FARMINGTON — The Farmington School District, the Technical Center and SeniorsPlus will offer Senior Buffets this winter. 

Under the guidance of chef Sean Minear, the culinary arts students at Foster Career and Technical Education Center will serve a buffet luncheon for seniors 60 and older at their Chef’s Table Café at Mt. Blue High School, 129 Seamon Road.

The last buffet will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 9. 

Reservations are required by Friday, March 3, for the March 9 buffet.
