The power of the Republican Party was perfectly stated by Neil Bourgoin and Mary Jane Newell in their letters to the editor (Sun Journal, Feb. 25). There are no words to describe their commitment to the cause of their party. I can only hope that they realize the “great” power that their words have on the citizens of the town of Jay and surrounding area.

I implore them to keep writing, because for every letter they get printed in the Sun Journal as a representative of Jay and the area, 10 more new Democrats are born.
