Welcome, Neighbor volunteers Kathleen Potter, Penny Hilton, Beth Blakeman-Pohl and Beth Birch assemble packets of materials for new residents of New Gloucester. Businesses, organizations and community groups based in New Gloucester can obtain free publicity by participating in Welcome, Neighbor, a grassroots community volunteer project. Businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to include items, such as business cards, brochures or other promotional materials that may assist new residents in their transition. There will be 100 packets assembled. There is no charge or obligation to participate. Businesses, organizations and community groups interested in participating should drop off 100-count of their item to the town office by Friday, March 31, to have their materials included.
